Never send your password, authentication codes, private keys, or secret application values as proof of identity.
Receive confirmation
The support team will process the request and confirm when the account-deletion process has been completed or explain any data that must be retained for a lawful reason.
What account deletion covers
The request covers your Infralane account and personal data associated with that account. This can include:
- account and profile information;
- account authentication information;
- workspace membership information associated with your account;
- GitHub authorization and integration data associated with the account;
- application, deployment, and resource information associated with an account being terminated;
- related support, diagnostic, security, and operational information, subject to the retention rules below.
Deleting an account means deleting the account rather than merely disabling or freezing it.
Data retention and deletion timing
Infralane’s Privacy Policy describes the full retention rules. In summary:
| Data category | General approach after account termination |
|---|---|
| Account and profile information | Normally retained for no more than 90 days, unless a longer period is legally required or needed for a legal claim |
| Customer application data on persistent storage | Where retained after termination, normally retained for no more than 90 days, subject to deletion settings, technical limitations, legal requirements, and backup rotation |
| Security, diagnostic, audit, and operational logs | Normally deleted or de-identified within the 90-day post-termination period, unless longer retention is justified or legally required |
| GitHub authorization and integration data | Cleaned up after it is no longer connected or needed, subject to limited lawful security or audit retention |
| Payment and transaction records | May be retained as reasonably necessary for accounting, taxation, fraud prevention, legal compliance, reconciliation, and disputes |
| Support communications | May be retained as reasonably necessary to resolve requests, maintain service history, or establish and defend legal claims |
Residual copies in backups or disaster-recovery systems may remain protected until removed through normal backup rotation. Information may be de-identified instead of deleted where permitted by law and where it can no longer reasonably identify you.
Account deletion is permanent. Before requesting it, make sure you have preserved any information you are authorized to keep and no longer need access to applications, deployments, billing history, or workspace resources associated with the account.
