Profile and account security

Open Settings to update your profile and configure two-factor authentication.

Update your profile

You can change your first name, last name, and phone number. Your verified email address is read-only in the dashboard; contact support if it needs to change.

Profile information identifies you across workspaces and team activity. Keep it accurate and avoid placing secrets or unrelated personal information in profile fields.

Set up two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication uses an authenticator app that generates a six-digit code.

Select Set up MFA

In Settings, find Two-factor authentication and select Set up MFA.

Confirm your password

Enter your current Infralane password to authorize setup.

Connect an authenticator

Scan the QR code with your authenticator app. If scanning is unavailable, use the manual setup key.

Protect the setup key

Treat the QR code and manual key like a password. Do not save them in chat, email, screenshots, source code, or application environment variables.

Finish and test

Complete setup, sign out at a safe time, and verify that you can sign in with a generated code.

Before enabling MFA on a critical account, make sure your authenticator is backed up or transferable according to your organization’s policy. Store any approved recovery information in your organization’s secure password manager.

Disable MFA

Use Disable MFA only when required, and complete the confirmation shown by the dashboard. Re-enable it promptly after replacing a device or resolving the reason for disabling it.

Account security checklist

  • use a unique password stored in a trusted password manager;
  • enable MFA;
  • never share sign-in or MFA codes;
  • review workspace memberships and privileged roles;
  • sign out from shared devices;
  • rotate any credential that appears in logs or screenshots;
  • contact support through an official channel if you suspect account access.

Password reset

Use Forgot password on the sign-in page. Follow the link sent to your email and choose a new, unique password. If a reset link is invalid or expired, request a new one rather than forwarding the old link.

Delete your account

Account deletion is handled manually. Follow the account-deletion instructions to email Infralane support and request permanent deletion of your account and associated personal data.
